Join the discussion about the new Blue Environment Programme
Waterschap Vallei en Veluwe is developing a new water management programme, our Blue Environment Programme (BOP). This programme outlines how we plan to align our statutory tasks and water management objectives with those of our partners during the new planning period (2028-2033). To this end, we are organising four regional workshops in March and April. During these workshops, we will engage with fellow authorities, interest groups and umbrella organisations to discuss the choices and dilemmas for the upcoming planning period.
Why regional workshops?
In the workshops, we invite participants to contribute their thoughts on questions such as:
- How can we retain more water while also preventing waterlogging?
- How can water contribute to a healthy living environment, even in urban areas where space is scarce?
We aim to translate the objectives into area-specific measures as effectively as possible. The insights gained from these discussions will help us achieve this.
Who are the regional workshops for?
The regional workshops are intended for administrative discussion partners from fellow authorities, partners of the water board, umbrella organisations and interest groups. Residents and businesses will soon be able to share their views through digital participation.
