Since September 2025, applying for subsidies in Almere has been done in a new, more efficient way. Residents, organizations, and entrepreneurs who want to realize an initiative with municipal subsidies can now use the Subsidy Tracking System (SVS). The SVS was officially launched on Monday, September 8.

With the SVS, applying for subsidies becomes much simpler. The subsidy applicant logs in, selects the scheme that fits the initiative, and submits the application digitally. After that, the applicant can precisely follow what happens with the application. Providing additional documents is also done through this system. Everything is organized in one place. This improves the municipalitys service. No more paperwork, but a clear digital process.

Important dates to remember

  • September 8, 2025: start date for applying for subsidies via SVS.
  • September 30, 2025: deadline for subsidy applications for activities that last (almost) the entire year of 2026.
  • Extensions can be requested until September 30 via subsidiebureau@almere.nl.

Organizations and entrepreneurs use eRecognition (level EH2+) to log in, while residents log in with DigiD. Those who do not have a login tool can request one via eherkenning.nl or digid.nl

Applicants who submit their subsidy request on time will know by December 31, 2025, whether they will receive a subsidy. Different deadlines apply for one-time subsidies or requests with extensions – these are stated in the subsidy conditions or in the confirmation of the application.
