Everyone who became a champion in 2025 is invited to register for the Feast of Champions. Whether as an individual athlete, a team, or with the coaches, volunteers, and others who made it possible. It doesnt matter at what level the athletes became champions: all champions are warmly welcome.
Alderman Ben Van Koningsveld (Sport and Movement): “The value of sport and movement is not only in top performances. Equally important is meeting each other and inspiring each other to keep moving. With sport, we not only build health but also a more enjoyable and connected city. The Sports Gala is the moment to put everyone who makes this possible in Amersfoort in the spotlight.”
New setup: more meeting, less ceremony
What remains: a festive afternoon for champions up to 16 years old and an evening program for champions aged 16 and older. Both are presented by sports reporter Jeroen Stomphorst, as in previous years.
What changes: during the party, we will award sports medals in the afternoon but not in the evening. The evening focuses more on meeting, inspiration, and celebrating together.

An active afternoon full of sport and fun, including the awarding of sports medals by the Alderman for Sport and Movement. Special guest this afternoon is freerunner Rutger Schipper.

Thursday, January 15, 8:00 PM, location: Prodentfabriek
An evening focused on meeting, inspiration, and fun to celebrate all sports successes of 2025! With footage of sports performances, the opportunity to take a (team) photo, network, and get moving on the dance floor.
