How It Began
The couple met, quite modern at the time, through an advertisement in the magazine Muziek Express. Mr. Van den Berg lived in Hamersveld at the time, and Mrs. Van den Berg in Eindhoven. The couple has three children.
A New Home
After their marriage, they moved to Amersfoort. Mr. Van den Berg built a house there himself, where they lived happily for 37 years. The couple has now been living to their full satisfaction in Hoogland for 23 years. Mr. Van den Berg worked for 45 years at Heilijgers construction company in Amersfoort and still keeps in touch with former colleagues.
Hobbies and Activities
The couple did a lot of photography together and made films with the photos. They also enjoyed traveling often with their caravan. Unfortunately, they had to sell the caravan due to health problems. Mrs. Van den Berg is very skilled with computers and volunteers at Seniorenweb in De Neng in Hoogland.
A Festive Anniversary
The couple celebrates their wedding anniversary with a party at De Plank in Hoogland, together with family and friends.
