  • 7:30 AM Arrival Council Chamber and Breakfast
  • 8:00 AM Welcome by Alderman Micheline Paffen-Zeenni
  • Continuation Program:
    • 8:10 AM Speech by Ella on the importance of an intersex declaration
    • 8:20 AM Signing of the intersex declaration
    • 8:20 AM Panel Discussion
    • 8:50 AM Go outside & raise the flag
  • 9:00 AM End

The flag will fly for 2 days. 

You can be who you are 

With the Coming Out Breakfast, the Municipality of Amersfoort and everyone involved mark a place where everyone can and may be themselves. Where everyone can and may take their place, regardless of background, gender, sexual diversity, disability, or social status. You can be who you are, exactly as you are. 

Unfortunately, discrimination, exclusion, violence, and threats still occur. Sometimes people do not dare to be who they really are.
