Amersfoort DJs Damian Banks and John Philips kick off the evening at 10:30 PM with strong beats. Then Joe Emanuel plays a mix of well-known hits and soul music. During the big countdown moment, the Rosko Quartet and the Rock City Horns also perform. This creates a live experience you can feel right in the middle of the square.
Meanwhile, the historic Sint Joriskerk comes to life with breathtaking light projections inspired by the Legend of the Dragon Bull: a story full of strength and hope. This creates a magical experience where we count down to 2026 together with light and music.
Dance into the new year
After the countdown and New Years wishes, the party continues. Vive la Danse provides a cheerful start to 2026 until 1:00 AM. They play an energetic mix of house, afro, latin, and disco. The main rule: it must be danceable.

On January 1st, the Countdown033 Concert will be replayed at 5:30 PM. The concert and the projection on the Sint Joriskerk will then be live on the Hof.
Exchange a coloring page for a button
For the Legend of the Dragon Bull, Amersfoort illustrator Pixelkaiju (Jordy te Braak) created a special coloring page. You can pick up the coloring page at the VVV and Het Lokaal or download it via the Countdown033 website. If you submit a colored Dragon Bull at the VVV or Het Lokaal, you will receive a Countdown033 button.
New place to count down together
After four years of counting down at the Lieve Vrouwekerkhof, we celebrate Countdown033 Concert this year at the Hof. There is more space here to count down to 2026 together. Admission is free, but full = full. So come on time and get a drink at the outdoor bar. Own drinks and fireworks are not allowed.
