Since 1997, Ms. Overberg has selflessly dedicated herself to others. Her involvement began with the sports club De Keiski Amersfoort, where she served for many years as a board member and also as a confidential counselor. From 2008 until earlier this year, she was active within De Koperhorst as a complaints officer and confidential counselor for residents. She was present two to three half-days a week to support them, listen to their stories, and assist with questions or complaints. Marianne Overberg is still connected to De Koperhorst as a volunteer, including at the Sterrendiner.
Quality and Awareness
Together with the then director, she developed a complaints protocol that still forms the basis for handling signals and reports within De Koperhorst. Additionally, she provides training on recognizing signs of elder abuse and gives lectures in the region. Through this, she contributes to the quality of care and awareness in society.
