Amersfoort collaborates with Profit from your Home to provide residents with advice, assist with implementation, and handle financial matters related to insulation. On November 3, Profit from your Home unexpectedly announced that they had filed for bankruptcy, temporarily halting services. In recent weeks, the trustee, the province of Utrecht, and involved municipalities have worked intensively to prevent residents and entrepreneurs from being unnecessarily affected by the bankruptcy.
The trustee has now announced that Profit from your Home will continue as an independent company. OnePlanet Group enables the restart with a financial investment and expertise in areas such as IT and software. This restart ensures that insulation activities can resume, residents can be helped quickly again, and many jobs can be preserved.
Operations will gradually resume
For residents, this means that in December work will restart, first focusing on residents who have carried out measures themselves and want to apply for subsidies (the so-called declaration route). From January, home visits will be scheduled again and further services will be resumed.
