On the weekends of January 31 and February 7, the connecting road from A10 South to A4 Schiphol/Rotterdam will be closed.
Extra travel time may increase by up to half an hour, both on the ring road and in the city.
Closures
- From Friday evening January 31 at 21:00 until Monday morning February 3 at 05:00 and from Friday evening February 7 at 21:00 until Monday morning February 10 at 05:00, the connecting road from A10 South to A4 Schiphol/Rotterdam will be closed.
- Traffic from the city cannot use entrance S107 towards junction De Nieuwe Meer.
- Additionally, traffic from Amsterdam Nieuw-West cannot access entrance S107 towards the Coentunnel.
- To relieve A10 South, entrance S109 to A4 Schiphol/Rotterdam will be closed on Saturday and Sunday between 08:00 and 20:00.
All other entrances and exits to and from A10 South will remain open.
Detours
Traffic will be redirected via A2, A9, or A10 North.
- Through traffic to A4 Schiphol/Rotterdam will use A9.
- Through traffic to A8/A7 Zaanstad/Leeuwarden will use A10 East and A10 North.
- Traffic using junction S107 and A10 West or entrance S109 to A10 South towards A4 Schiphol/Rotterdam will be locally redirected. Follow the yellow detour signs.
Night Closure A10 West to A4 Schiphol/Rotterdam
From Friday evening February 7 at 21:00 until Saturday morning February 8 at 08:00, A10 West towards A4 Schiphol/Rotterdam will be closed. Drivers will be redirected via exits S107 to A4, indicated by yellow signs.
Note: Extra Congestion in the City
The closure will also cause congestion in the city. It is best to use public transport or a (shared) bike. If you must drive, expect heavy traffic at:
- Hoofddorpplein and Zeilstraat, in both directions
- Stadionweg and Amstelveenseweg towards Zeilstraat
- Marathonweg and Herculesstraat towards Hoofddorpplein
