The A9 will be closed for 6 weekends this autumn between Badhoevedorp and Holendrecht. Rijkswaterstaat expects significant traffic disruption. The first closures are between Thursday, October 9 and Monday, October 13.
From Thursday, October 9 at 20:00 to Friday, October 10 at 20:00, the following will be closed:
- the connection A2 from Utrecht towards A9 Schiphol/Haarlem
- the connection from Amsterdam Zuidoost towards A9 Schiphol/Haarlem and towards A2 Utrecht
From Friday, October 10 at 20:00 until Monday, October 13 at 05:00, the A9 will be closed in both directions between the junctions Badhoevedorp and Holendrecht.

After this, the A9 will be closed for another 5 weekends between the junctions Badhoevedorp and Holendrecht. Sometimes the road will be closed in one direction and sometimes in both directions.
