Due to possible disturbances of public order, Mayor Halsema has decided to establish a security risk area for part of the city center on Sunday, October 12 from 09:00 to 19:00.
Controls
The police can conduct searches in the designated area and there is a ban on wearing face-covering clothing in case of public order disturbances. This applies, among others, to Central Station, Damrak, Prins Hendrikkade, Nieuwmarkt, Dam, and Rembrandtplein.
Safety
Security risk areas are established to prevent confrontations and incidents and to ensure the safety of those present and residents.
Museumplein
On Sunday, October 12, a previously announced security risk area around Museumplein will also remain in effect.
