The Municipality of Arnhem collaborated with Winst uit je Woning to help residents make their homes more energy-efficient. Last week, it was announced that Winst uit je Woning filed for bankruptcy. Projects by Winst uit je Woning in Arnhem have been completed. Therefore, as far as the municipality can see, the bankruptcy has no impact on ongoing sustainability projects currently running in the city.
Alderman Cathelijne Bouwkamp: “The bankruptcy of Winst uit je Woning comes unexpectedly. In recent years, the company has played a role in making Arnhem more sustainable. This cooperation now ends, while the challenges in the field of climate and energy remain. Of course, the municipality will continue to strive in the future to help as many homeowners as possible to make their homes more sustainable.”
Projects completed
Together with Winst uit je Woning, the municipality organized a joint purchasing campaign for energy-saving measures in 2023. Winst uit je Woning also implemented the Small Housing Approach subsidy scheme in 2023 and 2024. These projects have now been completed and Winst uit je Woning is no longer active in Arnhem. This means that the bankruptcy likely has no consequences for ongoing sustainability projects in the city at this time.
Residents who participated in the actions can direct questions about the implementation to the parties carrying out the measures. Homeowners have other options to make their homes more sustainable, which can be found at www.arnhemaan.nl. For other questions, residents can also contact the municipality.
