Breda takes another important step in strengthening its creative ecosystem. With the arrival of a temporary Creative Design incubator, the municipality provides space for talent development and innovation in the creative industry. This incubator serves as a precursor to a permanent location in the city after 2028 and focuses on graduated talent and scale-ups with developed innovations.
Breda, the place for creative talent
With the cultural policy City of Creative Talent 2025–2040 effective since January 1, 2025, Breda aims to profile itself as a development place for creative talent. In addition to a Performing Arts incubator, space will again be made available for a Creative Design incubator. It involves a strong network of guidance, collaboration, and visibility. The new Creative Design incubator is linked to the focus program Talent Development in the Creative Industry and emphasizes interdisciplinary work, knowledge sharing, and connections between culture, education, and business.
