How do you ensure that technology is not only smart but also does good? With this question as a starting point, Breda has joined the City Deal on Artificial Intelligence (AI). During the conference AI in the City at the Mezz, Alderman Carla Kranenborg-Van Eerd signed on behalf of the municipality. Breda is thus not only a participant but also an administrative ambassador and chair of the Supervisory Board of this innovative collaboration.
The City Deal brings together governments, knowledge institutions, companies, and social organizations to deploy AI responsibly and effectively for social challenges in cities and villages. Breda joins other cities such as Rotterdam, ’s-Hertogenbosch, the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, TNO, EIT Urban Mobility, and various other partners.
