In September, the first Family Schools will start in Breda, specifically at OBS Noorderlicht and De Weerijs. A Family School is more than just a school. It focuses on an enriched day for students, support for the whole family, and high involvement from home. It is a place of meeting, where education and welfare come together. Where childcare, school, parents, and the community work together to provide children with a strong foundation. A place where children not only learn to read and calculate but also grow in self-confidence, social skills, and future perspectives, as there are literally more hours of school time for broad development, and parents are involved from a young age.
