The Breda city council approved the zoning plan on Thursday for the redevelopment of the area at Lunetstraat and Tramsingel. On the site of the former De Lunet shopping center, the Lunext project is rising, a new residential neighborhood with 216 sustainable apartments. The development is carried out by Van Deursen Group in collaboration with Breda architect Bart van der Velde.

Project Lunext

Alderman Eddie Förster (Urban Development): “In Breda, we don’t just build homes, we work on creating a livable, pleasant city. That means affordable housing for starters, families, and the elderly, as well as space for amenities, greenery, and water. With Lunext, we add not only homes but also quality and sustainability. This project contributes to our housing challenge and strengthens Breda’s appeal. Soon you will live just a stone’s throw from the city center, the station, and NAC.”
