Students from St. Joost School of Art & Design have a chance to win a guest studio and a work budget of €5,000.
The Municipality of Breda awards the Atelier Prize each year to the most entrepreneurial student or student duo from St. Joost School of Art & Design. The winner can use a guest studio in the CLIB building Electron for free for a year after graduation, receives a work budget of €5,000, and gets guidance as a starting entrepreneur. Students can register from today. The registration closes on May 9, 2025.
With the Atelier Prize, young, graduated, creative talent receives tailored support for a flying start in Breda. This fits seamlessly with the municipalitys cultural policy. In addition to the studio managed by CLIB and the work budget, the winner can count on guidance in artistic and business areas when setting up their own professional practice and access to the network of cultural and creative organizations in the city. The studio is available from September 1, 2025, to September 1, 2026.
Interested parties can register from today, April 2, 2025. Selected candidates will be invited to present their application on May 23, 2025. They will receive notification about this. The jury includes a representative from St. Joost School of Art & Design, mentors of the current winner, the Municipality of Breda, and the Atelier Prize winner of 2024.
