Despite previous promises from the Ministry of Education, student transport for over 75,000 vulnerable children in the Netherlands still faces major and structural problems. This is stated by the movement Appropriate & Safe Student Transport, which, together with parents, municipalities, and social organizations, calls for sustainable improvements. Aldermen Emile Soetendal (Katwijk) and Arjen van Drunen (Breda) also support the movement and are committed to safe, reliable, and appropriate transport for all students.
