Safety around Breda station and Park Valkenberg (the VAST area) has long been our focus. This place, where thousands of travelers, visitors, and residents meet daily, is not only a showcase of our city but also a place requiring continuous attention to safety and livability. The municipality collaborates here with NS, ProRail, Arriva, police, the Public Prosecution Service, and the Social Shelter Foundation Breda (SMO Breda). The renewed VAST Safety Arrangement was signed on December 17.
