Green-Blue Main Structure for Inspection

The green-blue main structure of the municipality of Deventer is available for inspection until Tuesday, February 24. 

The green-blue main structure consists of a document and digital maps that together describe the green and blue elements forming a network of nature, water, and greenery in the municipality. 

These elements have many functions: they provide a healthy and sustainable living environment for people and animals, contribute to the identity and culture of the municipality, are necessary for food production and drinking water, prevent heat stress and water nuisance, and offer space for relaxation, peace, sports, and social interaction. 

The document green-blue main structure provides assessment criteria and conditions so that in new developments the importance of green and blue is also explicitly considered in the overall interest assessment.
