The water level of the IJssel is rising after a long period of lower water levels. There is a small wave caused by the Rhine and the IJssel. Currently, the level at Deventer is +NAP 4.54 meters. The level is expected to rise further this week to around +NAP 5.10 – 5.25 meters at Deventer.
Measures
The lowered Wellepad is closed at the ends and the wooden stairs in the middle. Also, the stairs in the floodplains of the Wilhelminabrug and the railway bridge are temporarily closed.
They are expected to remain closed at least until the end of February.
