The new concept Environmental Bicycle Program Deventer (OPF) 2026-2030 includes six main themes. These are based on research from recent years and the evaluation of the current bicycle program. We cannot devote equal time, attention, and money to each theme, and not everything can be implemented immediately. So we have to make choices for the coming years. And we need you for that.
The six main themes that we and the residents of Deventer find important are Bicycle use and a lower maximum speed, Better bicycle parking and its findability, More priority for cyclists and easier crossing, Behavior and education, Better prevention of solo accidents than cure, and Better accessible facilities and bicycle network.

From February 16 to March 1, 2026, you can think along with us about these themes by filling in the questionnaire at www.deventer.nl/opf. Where do you think we should spend our time, attention, and money? Which theme do you think needs the most and which the least attention? By filling in the questionnaire, you immediately have a chance to win fun prizes: bowling for four people, going to the cinema with four, and a bicycle helmet (for young or old).
Free poffertjes
On February 16, 17, 18, 23, and 24, 2026, we will be at various locations in the city between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM with our old Dutch poffertjes cart. Fill in the questionnaire and you will immediately receive a free portion of poffertjes as a gift.
