At Bettinkdijk, on the east side of Loo, up to 12 new homes will be built. These are so-called CPO homes, mostly in the affordable and low-cost category.

Joint client

CPO stands for Collective Private Commissioning, where future residents are jointly the client for their own new construction project. Together, they are essentially the developers of their own homes.

These are mainly starter homes and homes for young families. The municipality has offered two CPO plots as options to two different CPO groups. On these plots, these future residents will realize their own homes.

Signing of CPO agreements

Alderman Rob de Geest (Housing): “The great thing is that we looked together with the residents of Loo at what the housing needs are. And what their ideas are for the design of this area at Bettinkdijk. From those conversations, this idea for a CPO project emerged.”

During a festive meeting in the Noaberlokaal in Bathmen on Thursday, February 26, alderman Rob de Geest signed the option agreements with the future residents and CPO participants.
