The Municipality of Ede has decided to extend camera surveillance in Ede-South around Huygenspark again. The cameras will now support maintaining public order until 1 September 2026. The observed nuisance has not yet disappeared and especially due to last New Years Eve, the decision was made to extend camera surveillance in the neighborhood.
The nuisance varies from noise nuisance, fireworks nuisance to vandalism. It is difficult to determine exactly who is involved and thus to set up a good approach. Camera surveillance is a valuable addition for detecting and preventing nuisance.
Camera Area
The cameras are placed within the designated area (see the map below for the involved area). To make the area known, signs have been placed with an icon of camera surveillance.
