Im glad that the judge has now chosen to uphold the permit. There is finally a ruling that allows us to move forward. The behavior of the wolf in question is, in my view, a concerning situation that causes unrest among many people in Ede and the surrounding area. Despite all our communication and precautionary measures, that unrest remains. We believe it is good that this particular wolf can now be addressed after several (bite) incidents. Although it would obviously be much better if incidents could be prevented, meaning that a wolf with abnormal behavior is addressed at an earlier stage. This also maintains the support for the wolf in the Netherlands.
