On December 3, 2025, we are organizing an inspiring networking evening at De Koepel. This event is part of Orange the World, the international initiative for the safety of women and girls. This years theme is ‘Municipalities in Action: Safe, Everywhere and Always’.

Haarlem has many active womens associations and engaged residents. We want to support them and strengthen their mutual connections. Therefore, we invite residents of Haarlem to an interactive networking evening. Together, we will explore how to keep womens safety continuously in focus.

Why this evening?

In the Netherlands, 1 in 5 women experiences partner violence, sometimes with fatal consequences. During this event, we will discuss the Stop Femicide! campaign. Together, we will look at how to recognize signals earlier and how a strong womens network can contribute to this.

What can you expect?

  •  Inspiring speakers sharing their knowledge and experience
  • Table discussions and plenty of room for exchange
  • Practical tools you can apply immediately
  • A joint dinner and networking drinks to strengthen connections

Goals of the evening

  • Making the network visible and findable
  • Learning what works – and what is needed – in Haarlem
  • Concrete agreements on cooperation and follow-up
