Cybercrime is increasingly common, also among small and medium-sized businesses. One wrong click on an email can have serious consequences. To better prepare Haarlems SMEs, a free Digital Helper training is offered.

“During this training, you will learn how to establish a fixed point of contact within your own company for digital issues,” says Raheel Hussain, policy advisor for public order and safety. “Often employees do not know what to do when receiving a suspicious email or possible cyber incident. By making agreements in advance, entrepreneurs can act faster and limit damage.”

The training also pays much attention to recognizing digital threats and knowing where to get help, even outside the company. Hussain: “This way, an entrepreneur is not alone when something goes wrong digitally.”

Registration

The free Digital Helper training is on March 3, 2026, from 9:00 to 12:00. The training takes place at 3D Makers Zone, Oudeweg 91–95 in Haarlem. Lunch will be provided afterwards.

You can register via dhv@haarlem.nl. The training is for entrepreneurs from SMEs in Haarlem. The number of places is limited.
