On Saturday, February 14th, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, we are organizing The Great Initiative Day together with Stadmakers Haarlem at the PHIL. This day is for everyone who loves Haarlem. Whether you are already active or still have an idea: you are warmly welcome.
Many people in Haarlem are committed to the city. With The Great Initiative Day, we make visible what is happening. We bring together initiators and people with plans.
Program
The afternoon will be opened with a welcome speech by alderman Floor Roduner. Then follows a program with sessions in smaller groups.
The sessions are about collaborating in the city and the future of Haarlem. You choose which sessions you participate in. For example, you get inspiration on smart use of public space. You learn how experimenting can contribute to change in the city. And you discover how to make the impact of your initiative visible. There is also attention for appreciation, motivation, and further development of yourself, your initiative, or your team.
Between sessions there is time to meet each other. In the foyer, there are ongoing activities. Alderman Bas van Leeuwen will close the afternoon, after which there is still the possibility to have a chat.
For everyone
The Initiative Day is intended for everyone with an idea for Haarlem or for people already working on an initiative. It can be about social, healthy, or sustainable topics.
