Do you love fashion but sometimes feel guilty when you buy something new? You are not alone. During Fair Fashion Haarlem, entrepreneurs show how it can be done differently.
In Haarlem, we throw away more than 1 million kilos of clothing every year. Much of it can still be reused or repaired.
Until the end of November, there is a Fair Fashion pop-up at Kunst Centrum Haarlem on Gedempte Oude Gracht. You can exchange clothes you no longer wear here. This way, you get something new without buying anything.
Workshops
You can also attend a free workshop in October and November. Learn to repair clothes yourself, make your own bag or bracelet, or learn about styling, color types, and body shapes. There are also fun workshops for children.
Sustainable Shops
Also follow the Fair Fashion shopping route. You will pass entrepreneurs who show that fashion can also be sustainable. You can recognize the shops by the green clothing hangers on the sidewalk.
