The fourth edition of the Citizen Budget Maastricht is starting! In total, the municipality is making €750,000 available. Residents of Maastricht can submit ideas and jointly decide where the money will go. This year there are 5 themes. There is also a Thinking House where you can get help in creating your plan.
What is new?
After discussions with people who previously submitted an idea, a few things have changed. Due to these changes, more projects can be realized:
- You may submit 1 project.
- A project may cost a maximum of 20 percent of the theme budget.
- Associations receive their own theme and budget.
All changes, rules, and the general regulations can be read on the page What are the rules?.
