From January 1, 2026, Dar will collect waste in our municipality. As a result, your collection days will change, you will receive a new waste pass, and you can use the handy Dar app.
Your collection days may change
Dar is creating a new schedule for waste collection. Therefore, your waste may be collected on different days than you are used to. You can find this in the Dar app and on the Dar waste calendar.
Download the Dar app
With the Dar app, you can easily see when your waste will be collected. You can receive a notification when you need to put the container on the street. The app is easy to use and free to download.
New Dar waste pass
In December, you will receive a new waste pass from Dar. You will use this pass from January 1, 2026, for the recycling centers in Elst and Andelst. The old pass will no longer work.
- If you have an underground collection container for residual waste, you will open it with the new waste pass.
- If you use a gray residual waste container at home, nothing changes. You cannot open the underground container.
- With the new pass, you get access to the recycling centers in Elst and Andelst.
Keep the pass safe. It replaces your current container pass and the environmental pass. You may cut up your old waste pass(es) and dispose of them with the residual waste.
Use up old PMD bags first
You can use up your old PMD bags (plastic +) as usual. The new transparent bags from Dar are free to collect at the usual locations.
