From this year, the Municipality of Overbetuwe will present the Youth Volunteer Award to the Youth Volunteer of the Year. This award is specifically intended to honor young people for their exceptional achievements and commitment as volunteers.
How does it work?
Submit the nomination form by April 8 to the Municipality of Overbetuwe. In this form, describe what the person does and what makes them special. Ensure that you fill out the form completely. If you need help, ask your parents or send an email to: kabinet@overbetuwe.nl.
A jury will select one young volunteer from all submissions. This person will receive the Youth Volunteer Award on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. The award will be presented by the youth mayor and the mayor.
What are the conditions?
- The person you nominate must live in the Municipality of Overbetuwe.
- They must contribute to the community or do a lot of volunteer work for others, an association, or a volunteer organization.
- The person is a role model for other young people.
- They do not receive money or other rewards for their work.
- The person is a maximum of 18 years old.
