On Monday 17, Tuesday 18, and Thursday 20 November (week 47), a military helicopter exercise will take place in the municipality of Overbetuwe and surrounding areas. Two Chinook transport helicopters from the Defense Helicopter Command will train with ground units during exercise Focus 298.

The helicopters may be visible and audible on these days between:

  • Monday: 11:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM
  • Thursday: 11:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Defense tries to minimize noise disturbance by avoiding built-up areas as much as possible. The schedule may be adjusted due to operational or weather conditions.
