The mayor and aldermen of Overbetuwe want to build a new fire station on the site of the current fire station in Oosterhout. With this proposal, the municipality is investing in future-proof fire services in the municipality.
Why a new station?
The current station at Dorpsstraat 3a is technically outdated and no longer meets current requirements, making it not future-proof for ensuring good fire services. To ensure quick and effective assistance in the future, the proposal has opted for new construction.
