The redevelopment of Vriezenenck on Valburgseweg in Elst is getting closer. The Municipality of Overbetuwe has today signed an important agreement with housing corporation Vivare. The plan is to build 57 homes at this location, of which 55 will be social rental homes. The homes will be suitable for people with and without care needs. The old commercial buildings will make way for green living, while preserving the existing orchard.
What is in the agreement?
In the intention agreement, the municipality and Vivare establish agreements regarding the mutual distribution of roles and responsibilities in the upcoming phases of the plan. The intention is for housing corporation Vivare to buy the land from the municipality to build social housing with care options.
