So also in the new neighborhood restaurant Plus in the Neighborhood in Oosterflank, on the ground floor of the senior complex de Oosterwiek. In the heart of the building, says Armand from KoksPlus Catering who runs the restaurant. His team counts down to the doors opening. It has turned out beautiful and cozy. The layout is quite classic and there is a homely atmosphere.

The neighborhood restaurant is a kind of living room where everyone is welcome; both residents of the complex and neighbors. We hope that everyone comes together here. Dutch pot 

At Plus in the Neighborhood, there are changing daily specials for 8.50 euros. They are affordable prices, but you still have that restaurant feel. The menu also includes à la carte dishes. But you can always get a fresh soup here, or potatoes with meat and vegetables. And now, of course, there are asparagus. We serve the Dutch pot and sometimes dishes like nasi and babi pangang are on the menu.

Plus in the Neighborhood is open to anyone looking for warmth, continues Armand. He is also a co-owner of neighborhood restaurant SociaalHart in Ommoord. People often linger there and are busy chatting with each other. That gives a good feeling! This is very rewarding work.
