Plenty of trees, plants, grass, and wide walking paths with the bustling city fountain as the vibrant center. A place to relax and meet each other, but where there is still room for traffic. That will soon be the renewed Hofplein. Starting next week, the municipality will tackle the first part of the square: the Coolsingel-Pompenburg exit. By the end of 2027, the Hofplein should be completely finished. But why this drastic change?
