It is becoming increasingly busy in the center of Rotterdam. There are also many roadworks, such as the greening of Hofplein. As a result, driving and parking in the center takes more time. To ensure that the city center remains livable and more space is available for pedestrians and cyclists, the municipality, together with the RET, is introducing the P+R combi ticket.

5 P+R Locations

P+R (Park and Ride) locations are parking spaces for people who park their car and continue their journey using public transport. There are several of these locations around Rotterdam. Starting June 1, you can reserve a spot to ensure that you can park your car. This can be done at the following P+R locations: Alexander, Kralingse Zoom, Meijersplein, Noorderhelling, and Slinge. Additionally, with the P+R combi ticket, you can obtain a discounted transport ticket from the RET for 1 to 5 people.

How it Works

Starting June 1, you can purchase a P+R combi ticket via the RET app. Link opens an external page. Through the option Book P+R, you can fill in the details of your trip and car and make the reservation. When you arrive at the P+R location, the license plate you previously entered will be recognized, and the barrier will open. From the P+R location, you continue your journey with the RET to the center.
