Residents of the municipality of Tilburg will receive the municipal tax assessment by February 21 at the latest. It will be available digitally in the Mijn Overheid message box or on paper. This assessment also includes the WOZ value of your home or business property.
FinBuddy: all fixed costs on the same day
Do you want the municipal taxes and other fixed costs to be debited as soon as your income arrives? With FinBuddy, you choose the day you pay. This way you are sure there is enough money in your account and you don’t have to worry about it anymore. Use the free tool FinBuddy, then you know exactly how much money you have left for the rest of the month.
File your own objection
Is your WOZ value too high or too low? Then easily file an objection yourself with the municipality and don’t outsource it to an agency. If such a WOZ agency wins, they are entitled to a legal costs reimbursement. This has cost Dutch municipalities tens of millions in recent years. That money did not go to important things for the city and its residents, such as good road surfaces and beautiful parks.
It is better to file an objection yourself. In recent years it has been shown that objections from those companies are less successful than when you do it yourself. And you do not have to deal with paying the legal costs reimbursement. Use the simple objection form, or send us an email. The municipality, like you, wants the WOZ value to be correct.

Affordable living in Tilburg
Tilburg has been affordable to live in for years in terms of housing costs. Of the 40 Dutch municipalities with more than 90,000 inhabitants, Tilburg was even the cheapest in the past 3 years. This is evident from annual research by the COELO research center, part of the University of Groningen.
