The first 250 shared bicycles from Lime were placed in Tilburg last week. Mid-November, shared scooters from Check will follow. Provider felyx will stop offering shared scooters as of November 3rd. 

Felyx will focus on other cities. From November 3, 2025, felyx shared scooters will no longer be available via the app. All felyx scooters are expected to be removed from Tilburg within a month.

Lime

The first Lime bicycles are located at multiple spots in Tilburg. Lime plans to place a total of 300 bicycles. Besides the current 250, another 50 will be added during November. Lime offers a city-wide service and carefully handles nuisance reports.

Shared Scooters Check

Mid-November, Check will start placing shared scooters. There will be a total of 250 in Tilburg. This means Tilburg will again have shared bicycles and shared scooters. Check also ensures scooters are placed at as many locations as possible in Tilburg and carefully handles nuisance reports. In the first quarter of 2026, Check will place up to 300 shared bicycles in Tilburg.

Further Improvements

The permits for both providers are valid until December 31, 2027. During this period, the municipality remains in contact with the providers to resolve shared transport nuisance. If you encounter problems with a shared bicycle or scooter or experience nuisance, please contact the provider. They will resolve issues as quickly as possible.
