He is coming, he is coming, well almost

On Sunday, November 16, Sinterklaas will arrive in Tilburg with his Pieten. If all goes well, the gift boat will dock around 11:30 AM at the Piushaven. Then, the saint and his Pieten will start a parade through the city around 12 PM. He is expected at Willemsplein around 3 PM.

The program at this square starts at 1:00 PM. There will be performances including singing and dancing. To guide Sinterklaas and his entourage properly through the streets, some measures are in place. The north side of the Piushaven is closed to traffic from 9:30 AM, from D’n Ophef to the start of the harbor towards the city center. This lasts until approximately 12:45 - 1:00 PM.

Along the rest of the route, traffic controllers will be present. Sinterklaas and his companions will pass through the following streets: Piushaven, Wethouder Baggermanlaan, Fatimastraat, Jan van Rijzewijkstraat, wethouder Eijkemansstraat, Kruisvaarderstraat, Hertogstraat, Leenherenstraat, Venderliersstraat, Kolvenierstraat, Voetboogplein, Piushaven, Piusstraat, Barkstraat, Tjalkstraat, Koggeplein, Kotterstraat, Hoogvensestraat, Lancierstraat, Jan Aartestraat, Ordonnansestraat, Karzernehof, St. Josephstraat, Korte heuvel, Heuvel, Juliana van Stolbergstraat, Piusplein, Paleisring and Willemsplein.
