The world around us is changing and increasingly becoming digital: from banking to booking a holiday. This is not self-evident for everyone. Therefore, we work together with residents to ensure that everyone can continue to participate.
In preparation, we spoke with residents about what they consider important to do in the coming years. We have incorporated their responses into the new Digitalization policy document.
Living and Working Together
So much is happening around us in the field of digitalization that we have divided the plans into two main themes. These themes are: Living together and Working together.
In the Living together theme, we ensure that you can (continue to) participate. For example, we make our websites accessible to people who are blind or visually impaired. We also ensure that if you cannot find your way on the website, there is always someone who can help. This can be via phone or physically in our City Shop.
Additionally, it is important that we continue to think about the technical possibilities and what effect certain choices can have on residents.
In the Working together theme, we look at what we can learn together by trying things out. We do this in a safe way. Together with you as a resident and the partners in the city and villages. We share information, but only if allowed and necessary. For example, this allows us to keep the fair fun and cozy by predicting the crowds.
The policy document is available online
