The municipality of Tilburg is making 100,000 euros available for small-scale activities during the New Years period. A maximum of 5,000 euros can be applied for per activity. This can be done via the application form on the page New Years Eve in Tilburg. Last year, there were 23 different activities in the neighborhoods and villages of the municipality of Tilburg, such as an après-ski bingo in Reeshof, a cozy winter barbecue in Oud-Noord, and ice skating in Berkel-Enschot.

Fireworks-free

The main condition of the subsidy scheme is that the activity takes place or starts on December 31. In addition, it must contribute to a fireworks-free New Years Eve. This year, there is also a ban on the use of private fireworks in the municipality of Tilburg. Furthermore, the activity must be freely accessible to everyone. New Years Shows

In addition to the subsidy for activities in the villages and neighborhoods, the municipality is again providing New Years shows this year. In the early evening, there will be a show in Reeshofpark and around midnight at Stadsforum.
