Tilburg: Where Ice Sports Thrive
Tilburg shows that it is the place where ice sports thrive. With a diverse program, from free skating afternoons to international championships, there is something for every enthusiast. Mark the events in your calendar and experience the magic of the ice together. Prefer to put on the skates yourself? That’s possible too. From October 4, the Ireen Wüst Ice Rink will be open again for recreational skating, speed skating, or free ice hockey.
Home Base
“In recent years, more and more parties in ice sports have found their way to Tilburg, and we are proud to be the home base for top sporting events such as the European Short Track Championships and the Challenge Cup. The ice hockey players of Tilburg Trappers are also attracting more and more audiences, both from home and abroad. And I am incredibly proud of that as the Alderman for Sports and Events. This season, you can once again enjoy our ice. I can’t wait!,” said Alderman Maarten van Asten (Alderman for Sports and Events).
