Where can you find the leaf bins?

There are again quite a few leaves on the streets. Our green contractors are busy with leaf clearing. But since you can also do leaf clearing yourself, the leaf bins are back on the street. You can dispose of the leaves you sweep from the sidewalk or street here. Is the leaf bin full? Then you can place the leaves next to the bin.

This year, the leaf bins have been redistributed across the streets in our city and villages. On the link to this map you can see where they are located. Is there no leaf bin near you? Sweep the fallen leaves together in a small grassy area or in the verge and report it via Fixi. Then the municipality will collect the leaves. You can also put the leaves in your GFT-e container or take them to the waste recycling center yourself. GFT-e waste is not allowed in the leaf bin. It is really only for fallen leaves.

Mulch

Did you know that the municipality makes leaf mulch from leaves? This is a type of compost that is useful as a nutrient for plants and flowers. In some places, the municipality intentionally leaves fallen leaves. This is good nutrition for the soil, and hedgehogs and insects can hide in it.
