Starting February 16, 2025, the bicycle parking under City Hall will close for maintenance. A new floor coating will be applied. It will reopen on March 3 at 13:30. Bicycles must be removed by February 16, 04:00 AM. Uncollected bicycles will be moved to Neude parking, retrievable at no cost.

Alternative Parking

During closure, use nearby public parking. The closest are Neude (3 minutes walk) and Zadelstraat (4 minutes walk). The first 24 hours are free, just like in City Hall parking.

 

Visit www.veiligstallen.nl for a full list of public bike parkings in Utrecht. The local parkings are expected to handle any extra demand. The municipality will monitor city center parking occupancy.

 

Maintenance Details

The floor will receive a new coating to maintain its condition against daily wear from bikes and pedestrians. All bike racks must be removed for this work, necessitating the closure.
