Residents of the Municipality of Utrecht can consult a Voting Compass from Tuesday, February 17 to find out which party suits them best for the municipal elections on March 18. There is also a website available where candidate council members introduce themselves to Utrecht voters.

Voting Compass

The Voting Compass is a voting aid with the political landscape: the axis system that shows at a glance how the political parties relate to each other. This way, everyone can easily find out what parties stand for and which best fit their beliefs and opinions.

The statements were made together with all parties participating in the elections. This ensures the statements fit well with local discussions and show the differences between parties.

The Voting Compass is created based on a scientific method. All answers from political parties are checked based on official party documents. All this information is in the Voting Compass and can be checked by everyone.
