Do you want to live together with others in a green and sustainable urban neighborhood? The Municipality of Zwolle invites interested groups to register before December 1, 2025, for collective living at the Nieuwe Veemarkt.
The Nieuwe Veemarkt offers space for approximately 30 homes for collective living arrangements, where living together and sustainability are central. In this first step, the municipality wants to get to know the different groups and their housing ideas. The insights from this registration round will help determine how the development of collective living at the Nieuwe Veemarkt will take shape.
What do we ask of you?
Are you part of a group of people who want to develop a living concept together?
Then send your registration, including the documents below in PDF format, no later than December 1, 2025, to veemarkt@zwolle.nl.
The registration consists of three parts:
- Concept vision (max. 3 A4 pages) – Briefly describe your shared dream of living and way of living together.
- First program indication (max. 2 A4 pages) – Provide a general picture of the type of homes, numbers, and target groups.
- Preliminary organizational chart (max. 1 A4 page) – Mention the core members of your group and how you collaborate.
Note: this registration does not oblige you to anything and does not grant rights to land or allocation.

The Nieuwe Veemarkt will become a green, lively urban neighborhood where various living arrangements are possible. With collective living, you can influence your living environment yourself and build connectedness with your neighbors together.
