On December 11, 2025, the Netherlands Court of Audit sent a letter to the Senate with its response to developments in the audit system for public finances.

On December 11, 2025, the Netherlands Court of Audit sent a letter to the Senate with its response to developments in the audit system for public finances.

On November 25, 2025, the Senate (Finance Committee) requested the Minister of Finance to respond to proposals for changes. These had been discussed earlier in spring 2025 with the minister in the Senate.
Furthermore, a letter on this subject was sent to the cabinet formateur. The House of Representatives received copies of both letters.
