On November 7, 2025, Senator Ingrid Visseren-Hamakers split from the PvdD faction. She communicated this by letter to the Chairperson. Pursuant to Article 20, third paragraph of the Rules of Procedure, she will continue under the name Fractie-Visseren-Hamakers. Since November 7, the PvdD faction has two members: Senators Peter Nicolaï and Niko Koffeman. Peter Nicolaï is the new faction leader of the PvdD faction.
